What is ToolKit?

ToolKit helps contractors build and host professional websites in under 60 seconds. You get a custom site, quote requests, booking management, and a mobile app for capturing and organizing job-site photos — without technical setup.

Does ToolKit have a mobile app for job-site photos?

Yes. The Toolkit mobile app captures photos and videos on site, matches them to jobs using GPS geofencing, supports tags and annotations, and lets you invite teammates to shared sites. Sign in with the same ToolKit account you use on the web.

How does the free trial work?

New accounts start with a free trial. You can build your site and receive leads during the trial. When the trial ends, you'll need a paid subscription to keep your site live and continue using the features.

How do I get a custom subdomain?

Your site is automatically available at a subdomain based on your business (e.g. yourbusiness.toolkit.build). Custom domains may be available in the future.

Who owns the content on my site?

You retain ownership of your business information, images, and other content. By using ToolKit, you grant us the license needed to host and display your content. For full details, see our Terms of Service.

What data do you collect?

We collect account, business, and quote/booking data to provide the service. Payment information is handled by our payment provider. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Is my contractor site content AI-generated?

Some of it is. ToolKit automatically generates SEO-focused pages (per-service, per-area, FAQ, blog) using a third-party large language model based on the business information you provide. We instruct the model to stick to your inputs and avoid fabricating awards or credentials, and we apply automated checks. Generated copy is cached in our database and only re-runs through the model when your business information changes — not on every visit. You are responsible for reviewing what appears on your site; you can update your business inputs to refresh the content, and we can disable AI-generated SEO pages for your account on request. Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page in your dashboard. Your site will remain active until the end of your billing period.
